Donation goal bars motivate fans to tip collectively toward a shared target. Here is how to configure and embed them live on your stream using SuperChat BD.
To set up a donation goal on stream using SuperChat BD: create a goal in your creator dashboard (name + BDT target), copy the Goal Bar browser source URL, and add it as a Browser Source in OBS Studio at 1920x1080. The bar fills in real time as fans tip toward the target.
A visible progress bar on screen does something powerful: it transforms individual tipping from a private, isolated act into a collective group effort. Fans who might not tip on their own will contribute when they see a goal at 60% and want to help push it to 100%.
Streams with an active donation goal bar on screen consistently generate 35–50% more tip volume than equivalent streams without one. The psychology is straightforward: a concrete, achievable target with visible real-time progress creates urgency and social motivation that no amount of verbal promotion can replicate.
Log in to SuperChat BD and navigate to Goal Settings. Enter your goal name (e.g. 'New Microphone Fund'), your target amount in BDT, and an optional end date. Save the goal.
In your Streamer Settings, find the Goal Progress Bar widget. Copy the secure browser source URL — it is unique to your account and updates in real time.
In OBS Studio, click the + button under Sources and select Browser. Paste your goal bar URL, set Width to 1920 and Height to 1080, and leave the background transparent.
Drag the goal bar widget to your preferred screen position — typically the bottom third of the screen or the top corner. Resize as needed. It will now update live as fans tip.
Show fans exactly what you are saving for — PC components, a gaming chair, or a monitor upgrade.
Audio quality matters. Fans who can hear you clearly tip more. Make the upgrade visible and tangible.
LED panels or ring lights transform stream quality. A visible goal makes fans feel invested in your growth.
Use goals for special event streams — 24-hour charity marathons, milestone celebrations, or monthly targets.
