Big news: platform fee cut from 10% to 6.5%
Great news for creators! The platform fee on Superchat BD has been reduced from 10% to 6.5%. That means a bigger share of every fan support payment now goes directly into your pocket.
The difference in numbers
- On 1,000 Tk support, you previously received 900 Tk — now you get 935 Tk
- On 5,000 Tk support, you previously received 4,500 Tk — now you get 4,675 Tk
- On 10,000 Tk support, you previously received 9,000 Tk — now you get 9,350 Tk
That is 35 Tk extra on every 1,000 Tk — a difference creators with regular supporters will clearly feel at the end of the month.
Who benefits the most
- New and small creators: every Taka counts at the start. A lower fee means keeping more of your first earnings.
- Regular live game streamers: small daily tips add up to a large monthly amount — this cut is a direct pay raise.
- Music and entertainment creators: special event streams that pull in a lot of support at once will show the savings immediately.
Do you need to do anything?
No. The new rate applies automatically — no changes needed to your page, tipping link, or OBS setup.
3 ways to make the most of it
- Tell your viewers on stream that more of their support now reaches you directly — many fans tip more when they hear that.
- Keep your Superchat BD tipping link in your stream description and pinned comment at all times.
- Thank supporters regularly and read their names on stream — recognition brings fans back to tip again.
