Platform Fee Structure

Superchat BD provides transparent, predictable pricing with lower platform fees for developer commerce checkouts.

Developer Platform
5.00%

Standard Developer Checkout Fee

Applies to all hosted payment sessions created via the Developer API (`/api/v1/payments`).

Admins can set a per-account override between 1.00% and 30.00%; the platform default is 5.00%.

Developer receives 95.00% net payout.

Creator Studio
10% / 20%

Streaming & Superchat Tips

Creator tips that trigger live OBS stream alerts, text-to-speech, and streamer goal progress bars carry a standard 10% (EPS) or 20% (Stripe) platform fee.

Fee Resolution Hierarchy

Fees are calculated deterministically on every transaction using exact 2-decimal financial rounding:

  1. User-Specific Fee Override: If an admin negotiated a custom tier for your high-volume account, your override rate takes top precedence.
  2. Persona Default: Developer checkouts resolve to the developer platform default (5.00%).
  3. Global Fallback: Guaranteed fallback protecting financial consistency.
